In 2025, the Expert Commission will focus on topics including:
- Advocacy on a new EU Preparedness Union Strategy and EU Preparedness Law; improving EU civil protection and disaster management including its employment dimension of concerned workers
- Advocacy on digital public infrastructure, a European Data Union Strategy and the implementation and compliance with EU-wide AI regulation in the public service
- Cross-border workers and volunteer firefighters/ambulance service trained volunteers and their legal obstacles
The work of the Expert Commission informs CESI’s position in the European Social Dialogue Committee in Central Government Administrations.
