On May 5, CESI organised its second event on the importance of the European Union for workers and citizens, this time in Iași, Romania.

With its “WeEP24” project, CESI wants to contribute to raising citizens’ awareness of the role and democratic values of the European Union by engaging with workers in selected countries to foster debates about democratic participation in the European elections 2024.

Union members, scholars, and political figures had the chance to engage in conversations concerning the advantages and shortcomings of the European Union, its impact on the well-being and employment conditions of individuals, the latest Eurobarometer results specific to Romania, and the principles of democracy.
