Dr. István Vingender is graduated at the State University in Rostov as a philosopher in 1983, then as a sociologist at the University of Arts and Science Budapest in 1988. In 2000, he obtained the PhD degree at the Semmelweis University Budapest. Since 1990, he has worked for Semmelweis University, Faculty of Health Sciences as Professor in position of the Head of the Department of Social Sciences, and Vice Dean of the Faculty. His main research issues are: prevention and social problems on addiction, sociology of/in medicine, analytical epidemiological researches of drug consumption, health culture, health status of health care workers, social exclusion, migration and social integration. |
