Ms Szerb-Mantl is an educator, an ethnologist, a supervisor and a mediator. She is deputy director for the field of coordination and diversity management in the Department of the City Administration 17 - Integration and Diversity, a technical department in the city of Vienna administration. She has been active in the area of integration and migration since 1993, first of all working in an advisory capacity, on community development and in conflict resolution. In Diversity Management, Department of the City Administration 17, where she has worked since 2009, her main activities lie in awareness-raising at management level, establishing networks and developing and holding workshops and training courses.
Ms Szerb-Mantl works in a freelance capacity as a supervisor and coach (focusing on youth and social work), mediator and trainer (conflict resolution, intercultural communication, migration in Austria, offering advice in an intercultural context) as a reader at the Danube University Krems (work on conflict resolution) and as a reader on various courses ('Intercultural skills', 'Mediation and conflict resolution', 'Psycho-social consultation'/'Life coaching and social coaching') amongst other things.
